New-generation foams are generally referred to as HR foams. Foams, like Cold Foam or Kaltschaum, are cold-pressed foams, which are most often used as the internal base of a mattress. Foams, such as Viscoelastic or Memory Foam, are thermoelastic foams, which are the external layer responding to the body temperature and thus ensuring ideal adjustment to the anatomical spine profile and the weight of a mattress user. Mattress inserts of high-elastic foams are appropriately profiled (cut) in order to obtain 3, 5 or 7 zones of different hardness and a suitable air circulation. In order to effectively use the unique properties of foams during the process of creating mattress inserts, layers of HR foams and cold-pressed and latex foams are joined. This happens either at the production stage (uniform inserts) or by joining two foam layers in various ways (composite inserts).
